Heidi's Chicken Won-ton Salad

I stole this recipe in my "blog stalking". I haven't tried it but I know it's good. Credit goes to Heidi (whom I do not know) and Heather White (whom I also do not know, but who took the photo and posted the recipe on her blog) Here you go. People, you should post more recipes so I don't have to swipe them from others' blogs....Shame on you.

HEIDI'S CHICKEN WON-TON SALAD

1 head lettuce (it actually looks like my mom did a mix of romaine & iceberg)
slivered almonds
green onions
fried won-tons
chicken (cooked, cubed and browned in soy sauce)

DRESSING:
1/2 C. vegetable oil
1/3 C. apple cider vinegar
1/4 C. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

The recipe isn't very specific on quantities, except for the dressing. Just add everything to your own liking. It's DELISH!!!!

Tried this today. Amazing, as I knew it would be. (I just have a think for salads...and wontons...) Yum, Yum.

I have this recipe, but slightly different . . . I cook (boil)my chicken breasts in teriyaki sauce (big bottle), then cube it. Rest of the recipe is the same . . .
