Banana Bread

My dear friend Ashley makes this bread and it is to die for!

1 C. sugar
8 Tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1 Tbsp milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 C. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream sugar and butter until light anf fluffy, add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each egg. In a smal bowl mash bananas and mix in milk and cinnamon. In another bowl mix together flour, BP, baking soda, and salt. Add banana mixture to creamed mixture until combined. Add dry ingrediets until flour disappears. Pour batter into a 9x5x3 greased pan. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

The extra treat is to sprinkle brown sugar over the top after it has been baking for about 15 minutes. SO YUMMY!
