Sweet and Sour Sauce

This is a great sauce to dip chicken nuggets in.

Makes 3/4 cup

3/4 cup apple jelly, apricot jelly, or hot pepper jelly
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch ground ginger
Pinch cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper


Whisk jelly, vinegar, soy, garlic powder, ginger, and cayenne in medium bowl until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

YUM! I'm going to use this recipe to make along side the coconut chicken I'm making on Tuesday. It had it's own apricot jelly based sauce but this one sounds better. Thanks!
