Applesauce Muffins

Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice (I used apple pie spice)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick, plus 3 Tbs butter, melted
1 cup applesauce

Topping:
2 Tbs sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice (once again, I used apple pie spice)
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven to 400*
Sift dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredient mixture. Stir until just combined. Do not over mix.
Spoon evenly into 12 greased muffin cups. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the tops of your muffins. Bake for 20 minutes.
